MontPhoto wraps up an intense week of promotion just days before its 30th anniversary.

On September 24, at the Lloret de Mar Tourism Night (*Nit del Turisme*), the association's president, Roser Gruart, accepted the award for international outreach.

With the MontPhoto Festival—marking its 30th anniversary from October 2 to 4 in Lloret de Mar—just a week away, the organization is concluding a period of intense activity: an official media presentation, a round of radio and press interviews, and an institutional honor that arrives at a particularly significant moment.

Award for international outreach

On Thursday, September 24, Roser Gruart, president of the MontPhoto Association, accepted the award for international outreach at the Lloret de Mar Tourism Night. The accolade recognizes three decades of work that have transformed Lloret into a global hub for nature photography.

During a celebratory evening focused on the sector's achievements, Roser Gruart expressed sincere gratitude for the recognition of the work accomplished, while also offering a thought-provoking message: "In a few years, someone will look at the photographs of our time and compare them. They will see what we managed to build. But they will also see what we managed to preserve."

A program to celebrate 30 years

The festival kicks off next Friday, October 2, with the awards gala (free admission). Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to presentations (ticket required). The program is rounded out by training sessions, music, exhibitions, and an entertainment marquee featuring audiovisual content, culinary experiences, presentations, and family activities.
